Overview
All Suicide First Aid® education programmes are fully adaptable to meet the diverse needs of any global population. We have delivered programmes within 20 countries worldwide including India, Japan, South Africa and the United States of America.
With over 20 countries and counting, SFA is on a mission to spread these life saving skills far and wide.
When delivering internationally, the quality of our programmes remains consistent, and we have worked in the past to ensure any cultural adaptations required are done in a beneficial way for the Learners attending.
One minor change to international deliveries is around the City & Guilds elements of the course, in particular our Suicide First Aid: Understanding Suicide Intervention (SFA: USI) course. Whilst this programme is ‘Accredited’ by City and Guilds within the UK, internationally this programme is instead considered within ‘Assured’ status. This does not change the course content itself, and the only difference will be that instead of an optional written assignment, Learners can opt for a Digital Badge and ecertificate instead.
